About us
Once Upon A Time Theatre Company formally T.P.P. Theatrical Productions, are a touring theatre company and have been performing all over Wales since 2001.
We write all our own shows and have been commissioned to write and tour several educational shows for the Mid Glamorgan EBP, (Education and Business Partnership) and Caerphilly County Council Health Department.
We believe in quality theatre that can be enjoyed by all. Positive messages and serious issues can be understood more clearly when delivered in an entertaining and imaginative way.
Director, Writer and Lyricist : Beverley Alldridge
Beverley moved to London from her home town of Llanelli, South Wales to go to Drama School and worked there for next 15 years as an actress in a variety of jobs including theatre tours, The Mousetrap in the West End and film and television including Derek Jarman’s War Requiem.
Beverly has been writing and directing for the past 16 years and her work includes 14 pantomimes, an environmental show, various Theatre In Education productions and family shows. Little Frankie is her first musical.
Producer, Designer : Jason Alldridge:
Jason, originally from Birmingham, met his wife when they acted together in pantomime in London many years ago, Jason was happy as a jobbing actor in Film, T.V. and theatre, but when their first child was born it was time to settle down. Jason moved to South Wales and started T.P.P. Theatrical Productions and with over 20 very successful tours behind him, Jason is very happy to be producing “Little Frankie”. “There is something very special about this show” he say’s “ it has a wonderful feel good factor about it, and even though it can take you on an emotional roller-coaster you come away smiling”.
